Family Involvement

At Ardmore City Schools we believe that when parents are involved in their children’s education, children achieve higher grades, have better attendance and behavior, complete more homework, and demonstrate a more positive attitude toward education. We are proud of the diversity of our students and believe that building authentic, culturally-inclusive partnerships with their families is the best way to ensure their success in school and life.

We want you to be a part of your child’s school experience; there are several ways you can become involved.

  1. Volunteer to help your child’s teacher on field trips and with special class activities;
  2. Attend Parent/Teacher Conferences regularly;
  3. Visit the school often;
  4. Attend school events with your child; and
  5. Call your child’s teacher and/or principal when you have a question or concern.

We believe that the education of your child is a partnership between the parent, the school and the community, and that everyone in our community has a vested interest in each child’s school success. Please join us in this partnership by taking an active role in your child’s education.
