Welcome to Ardmore High School,

Serving this community as the Principal of Ardmore High School is a source of great personal pride. Since my arrival to Ardmore in 2004, I have felt accepted and fortunate to be a part of such a great school with great kids and great staff. Together, we will continue our path forward!

The reality of AHS is that there is something for everyone. Advanced Placement course offerings are prevalent at AHS and our teachers are actively pursuing AP training throughout the year. The research associated with AP courses and college success makes this a top priority at AHS. Our association with the National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) has set a 2014-2015 goal of doubling our AP student enrollment while reaching a higher level of success. As a parent, I am thrilled with this commitment.

In addition to our increased AP course offerings, AHS and Ardmore Middle School have increased the number of Pre-AP classes. By expanding the number of Pre-AP course offerings, more future AP students will be prepared for the rigor of future courses.

Another commitment and focus area at AHS is helping students go from their present level of success to a higher level of mastery. Math and English enrichment courses have been added as we address ACE graduation requirements as well as preparing our students for post secondary careers.

AHS has an abundance of clubs, groups, organizations and teams available for your child to participate in during their high school career. Indeed, there is something for everyone at AHS and I welcome you to the school year. Please communicate any needs or concerns as we move forward towards a fantastic 2014-2015 school year.
