A Thank You Message from the Superintendent

A Thank You Message from the Superintendent

Yesterday was a great day for Ardmore City Schools with the passage of our bond issue. I am so proud to be the superintendent in a community that values their school district and the children it serves. I am humbled by the outpouring of support from our staff, parents and patrons. There are many, many people to thank for helping us with this endeavor and most of you have helped without anyone even knowing it. Thank you to everyone who sat on any of our committees and/or attended countless meetings as we prepared to take the bond proposal forward. Your hard work and dedication made it possible for us to set the tone for all the needs within the district. Thank you to our staff members who talked to friends, family and parents of students. Thank you to everyone who encouraged people to register to vote. Thank you to everyone who stepped forward and was part of the ad campaign. Thank you to our core group of ladies in the community who really took our campaign to new heights, Jinny Lang Blankenship, Judy Riley, Dona Walton, Amy Wisian, Elizabeth Ward, Dana Stromberg and Pam Plesher. We have proven to be a great team when we all work together and clearly we are all “Champions for Children”. I will be keeping everyone posted as the process moves forward, so stay tuned.
